I've been coming here for years. The last visit I realized that the food here is amazing. The sauces they make are great. Every sauce we had was amazing. The calamari sauce was not just marinara sauce it was unique and delicious. The exterior seating creates an amazing ambiance.

La Lanterna was outstanding! The outdoor patio was absolutely beautiful and created the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing meal. The restaurant is well known for its charming outdoor dining area, and it definitely lived up to the hype. Carlos was phenomenal from start to finish. He was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our visit. The food was excellent the chicken was cooked perfectly, the calamari was off the hook, and my burger was super juicy and delicious. The drinks were also on point and complemented the meal perfectly. Great food, great service, and an amazing outdoor setting. I highly recommend La Lanterna

I previously had the pleasure of visiting for a retirement celebration, and I was immediately impressed by both the quality and quantity of the food—the flavors were outstanding, and the portions were exceptionally generous. Based on that experience, I chose to cater a recent family gathering, and I’m so glad I did. The service was professional, attentive, and highly accommodating throughout the process. The team ensured everything was thoughtfully prepared and packaged for easy transport, which made hosting much less stressful. Most importantly, every member of my family thoroughly enjoyed the meal—the dishes were flavorful, well-prepared, and truly memorable. La Lanterna is one of my favorite Italian spots in Yonkers, NY, and I find myself coming back again and again. The food is consistently excellent, but what really sets this place apart is the atmosphere especially the outdoor patio. When the weather is just right, sitting outside feels like dining in a beautiful garden. Even on cooler evenings, the fire pit adds a cozy touch that makes the experience just as enjoyable. The ambience is nice and quiet, making it perfect for family gatherings, birthdays, or just a relaxed night out. There’s something special about the combination of great food and the serene setting that keeps me returning. If you get the chance, definitely try to sit outside it’s the highlight of the whole experience.

Had a fantastic dinner at La Lanterna. We started with the meatballs appetizer and they were absolutely ginormous, in the best way, and packed with flavor. For mains, I had the spicy lobster pasta and my wife ordered the spaghetti carbonara, and honestly, both dishes were out of this world. Everything was cooked perfectly, rich without being heavy, and full of authentic flavor. A great meal from start to finish and definitely a place we’ll be coming back to.
